I keep imagining someone just throwing an entire goat up there. Or it got picked up by some storm and was unlucky enough to land there.

I like to think that the snow drifts were that high in the winter, and the goat became so preoccupied with scratching its horn against the wire that it didn't notice the snow underneath its hooves melted lower and lower and lower until....
