Apparently I have been playing the COD games a way that the developers don't like, so they've designed Black Ops 2 to counter my gameplay.
Needless to say, I am sucking balls at Black Ops 2.
Now, that isn't to say that I'm "good" at COD - I was just better than I am right now. A lot better :/
Also buy Halo 4.

I would go the opposite way from my teammates who were on radar and then flanked the opposite team.

You should be playing MtG online like the rest of the cool kids. Also, I heard AC3 is p good, but I'm so far behind on the story. :(

You get snuck up on and hit from behind because you aren't familiar with the maps. You gotta move to checkpoints you feel? Make mental notes of places that you find are typically secure and use them to scout out the area before moving out again. That's how I have always played and my K/D is Pro as fuck...
I'm getting more familiar with the maps - the problem is that the spawn system allows for enemies to spawn behind you, and the constant UAVs lead them right to you from behind.
It prevents the normal approach of COD, where two teams inhabit roughly 2 sides of the map at any given time and meet in the middle. Now, when you run to the middle, you're ambushed from behind.
Also, I've been keeping an eye on the K/D leaderboards in the TDM lobbies recently, and I've only come across one person with a 2.00+ K/D. Even Goonie, who normally has a 2-3.00 K/D, has a lower ratio in BO2. This leads me to believe that everyone is struggling to get a grips on this new system.
I have nothing to say about COD. I just like to visit your page from time to time.
